Parmenides, Master of Aletheia & Doxa

Parmenides, Master of Aletheia & Doxa is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Parmenides (c. 515–450 BCE), a pre-Socratic philosopher from Elea, emphasized that true reality is eternal and indivisible. In his poem On Nature, he distinguishes the Way of Truth (Aletheia), representing unchanging being, from the Way of Opinion (Doxa), the illusory, ever-changing world perceived by the senses. He argued that genuine knowledge comes from reason, not sensory experience, and his ideas significantly influenced later philosophy, including Plato’s theory of Forms.  That's why I've reimagined him as a two sided character representing the light Aletheia side on the front and the darker Doxa side on the back.
