Empedocles, Elemental Arbiter

Empedocles, Elemental Arbiter is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros. Empedocles theorized that all matter is composed of four fundamental and eternal elements—earth, air, fire, and water—whose combinations and separations, driven by Love and Strife, govern the cycles of nature. Love unites these elements, creating harmony and life, while Strife separates them, causing change and decay. Through this framework, Empedocles explained physical, biological, and cosmic phenomena, establishing a foundational understanding of matter that influenced later thinkers in philosophy and science. That's why I've reimagined him as an arcane master of the four elements, engulfing and using the elements to his advantage.
