To call his devotion “resolve” would do it a disservice, as it would imply that Evarstus had ever even considered an alternative to righteousness.To know him was to be in awe of that devotion. It was plain to see why he was chosen, blessed, exalted. No madness could never win against such a mind. No corruption could possibly gain purchase on the tempered steel finish of his certainty.
