Nocturnae – Barn Owl Sculpture

Nocturnae — Latin for “belonging to the night.”   This barn owl sculpture is a 3D scan of an original hand-carved work. The piece reflects a quiet nocturnal presence — wings drawn inward, gaze lowered, emerging from a textured vertical base.   The original sculpture was carved in soapstone and mounted to a wood base using internal stainless steel support.
