There is an adage often heard in old Western “B” movies - “Never bring a knife to a gunfight”. Wise words in the Wild West, but also in Bolt Action gaming. If you are bringing Italians to the table, you know too well that the best you gun you can bring in a turreted tank is a light anti-tank gun, which is the equivalent of a butter knife when playing Tank Wars. But there are options. One is the Semovente 90/53; a 90mm Super Heavy AT gun mounted on the modified chassis of an M14/41 tank. The Semovente 90/53 was produced in 1942, to address the inadequacies of Italian mobile AT weaponry.
