The N.S.-04 Venom Cub is a shrine-tech assault mech built in Kyōrakku as a heavy urban breakthrough unit for the Neon Shogunate. Despite its “Cub” designation, it is a towering war machine designed to advance behind infantry lines, absorb incoming fire, and smash fortified positions with overwhelming close-to-mid-range firepower. Its broad armored chassis, reinforced legs, and heavy weapon arm allow it to push through barricades, shrine gates, and monster-infested streets with brutal momentum. Venom Cubs are most often deployed alongside Yari-Gunners, where they act as walking cover and mobile artillery. Their arm-mounted Venom Cannon fires unstable shrine-rounds that burn through armor, construct plating, and corrupted spirit-flesh, while secondary launcher pods saturate tight streets with explosive bursts.
