Regelbau L409a Unterstand mit aufgesetzsten Geschützstand für 2.0 – 3.7 cm Flak The Regelbau L 409 was a Luftwaffe open top FLAK emplacement with ammunition and crew shelter annexed, which was designed for 2.0 to 3.7 cm anti-aircraft guns. The FLAK gun was placed in an open, concrete firing position on the roof of the bunker. This position allowed a wide field of fire to defend against low-flying attacks. The rooms inside the bunker were used to accommodate the six-man operating team and to store the ammunition. Designed in the construction thickness "Permanent" (St), usually in thickness B or B1, which offered sufficient protection since most of the structure was buried underground.
