8mm Diode Bender Tool

Building Mechanical Keyboards often involves bending diodes to put through PCBs, and while there are already tools to do this, they are either expensive, or are designed to accommodate multiple sizes and therefore can only bend one diode at a time.

When a full-sized keyboard requires 104 diodes, its a pain. I made this diode bender to bend the legs of simple diodes with a 8mm gap to suit mechanical keyboard PCBs, and with a little care, it can bend up to 25 in one go.

It comes as two halves, with guided slots. Simply drop in the slot the diodes, and align the other half, and then press them together and complete the bending with your fingers.
