9mm Case Screen

This is a screen that I use to sort brass. There are two versions, one has slats that are 11mm wide and one is 10.5mm. Both work but it depends on how accurate your printer is. Start with the smaller one and it it doesn't work, use the 11mm. The 11mm may let some .40 S&W through if you shake too hard. The 45 Grate is 11.4 mm wide and lets everything but 45 through.

The grate itself is 3mm thick piece and is designed to fit into 1/2 a 3 ream printer paper box. (See pictures). This has saved me a ton of time sorting brass that I picked up after a range session.

I start with mixed brass and sort with the 9mm grate over a bucket. I rarely get anything but 9mm but occasionally find a 380 in the bucket. Then I sort with the 45 grate which leaves 40 in the bucket and 45 in the box. YMMV but this works great and fits in the 3 ream paper boxes but will fit in anything designed to hold 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
