Basically, this is a relatively easy mod that drops both CPU and GPU temperatures while running the fans at lower speeds which also resulting in much less noise. It is specially optimized for Noctua NF-A12x25 fans and FDM printers.

To get the best results, use a filament with high heat resistance. Otherwise, the mod may deform.

To install the mod, remove the top mesh by straightening the pins from the bottom side. Then, install the mod and screw it down to the fan from above.

This is not a permanent mod, so you can always revert back to the stock mesh if you want. However, I am not responsible for any damage that may occur during the installation process.

The thermal test hardware used was a Ryzen 5950x paired with an RTX 3080. The stress tester was OCCT Power Test and the logger was HWINFO.
