Almugavers

Almugavers. Famed mountainmen and raiders, well known and valued for their ferocity and bravery (and near invincibility) in battle. Raiding and fighting was their way of life in their native lands of the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian peninsula (notably int he Kingdom of Aragon), and then as mercaneries that routinely defeated larger armies of Turks, (and then once betrayed) Byzantines and Franks. For have alternative versions with different helmets and a bare head. Shields and spears are separate parts, though I do recommend using metal spears. All parts come pre-supported and unsupported for the 30mm models. The 15mm models have small plates under their feet for ease of gluing them onto base, they only come unsupported, shields are separate and spears are part of the model.
