This Amazon Fire dock is designed specifically to contain this magnetic USB dock:

As soon as the Fire is docked, if positioned correctly the magnets will connect the USB for power. In the image, the usb cable is connecting to a Raspberry Pi USB socket in the base of the printer.
Ideal if, like me, you use Octoprint on the Pi and want to use a Fire Tablet to control it via the web interface with the TouchUI plugin.
