Ammo Can Insert

M557 BASE INSERT- CAN HALF-VERSION 3BI-CH-V3M557 AMMO CAN INSERT Ammo Can Insert to divide the bottom of the M557 ammo can into two trays. I needed some organization for my raft repair kit, which I have stored in an M557 Fuze Ammo Can. The Insert may fit other ammo cans as well, however this has not been confirmed as my supply of cans is exclusively the M557 variety. I named the item using similar conventions to the military lot number on the side on the cans, and being new to CAD, it took me three iterations to tweak it to a usable state, Thus BI-CH-V3. The Insert accounts for the raised rib on the floor of the can with a beveled slot on the bottom. Two finger holes are provided for easy lifting and removal of the tray. Print twice for a complete set. Inserts may be stacked on each other for multiple levels of organization. Insert Measures:137mm x 140mm x 60mmBottom groove is 106mm x 40mm (beveled 45 degrees) x 4mm Fit is just loose enough for easy removal, storage of thin (~3mm) item
