This original model started as a simple drawing by my son, who loves creating his own little monsters. And since drawings don’t have to stay flat forever, I decided to turn one of them into a real 3D object. The model was created using MakerLAB and stays true to the original childlike design — a long body, expressive fins, a spiky back, and a slightly prehistoric creature vibe. That raw, unfiltered imagination is exactly what gives this monster its unique charm. The color combination adds playfulness and depth, highlighting details that originally existed only in crayons and pencils. It’s a perfect example of how limitless kids’ creativity can be — and how powerful 3D printing is when it comes to turning ideas into reality.
