Arlo Pro Camera Mount - boot compatible

A 2-axis camera mount for the Arlo Pro series cameras. These cameras have a magnetic and 1/4-20 (1/4 bolt, 20 tpi) mount. The magnetic mount is really convenient.

Additional hardware is needed. A "drywall screw" is used to fix the mounting to a surface. 1/4-20 bolts are used for the rest. A 1/2 inch long round-head carriage bolt is used for the camera magnetic mount. A 2-inch bolt is needed for the ball-mount axis. One 1 1/2 inch bolt or a hex-drive grub screw is needed to hold the camera through the teardrop slot if you go that route. Note that a tight fit around the bolt is required since there are no threaded fittings.

Most Arlo Pro camera boots should work. Interference around the magnetic mount can be handled by allowing the carriage bolt to protrude a little. The boots I have work just fine with the bolt pushed fully in its socket.
