Important! this is not a complete solution to removing smells/all toxic chemicals from the laser cutting or engraving process, but does remove a significant amount of pollution that would otherwise escape into a room.
The only parts that require support are the upper parts that hold the fan and the inlet that mounts to the laser itself.
I have used a powerful 38mm fan in mine, but any reasonably powerful 38mm or 40mm fan can be used.
There is a version for both fan sizes in the file name.
The clear tubing is 16mm outside diameter, although 1/2 inch tubing can also be used by using insulating tape wrapped around the tube to make a good fit.
There is no actual mount at the top of the filter housing as this weighs so little it virtually supports itself, and a mount would hinder the height adjustments.
The filter itself which is pictures presses lightly into the opening of the lower filter base (black charcoal side up) and is held in place bu the upper housing. and secure
