So i needed a Z probe for the e3d cyclops for use with my micromake kossel.
I used an inductive probe but got off readings due to the probe being so far away from the hot end (y -30mm) and effector tilt.

So i came up with this.

It uses the micromake v3 effector. i modded it for more clearance.
This will let you use a e3d cyclops nozzle as the Z-probe.


Set up the same as the micromake effector.
For those that dont know. That means the Z probe offset in firmware will be a positive number. Mines was 0.68 but it all depends on how much the adjustment screw is turn.

X0, Y0, Z0.68
To find the prefect Z offset. start with 0.6 then try a test print. If the nozzle grinds into the bed up the number 0.7.
If the nozzle prints to high then lower the number 0.5
Depends on your firmware you can go up to 3 number after decimal point to get that prefect first layer
