Automaton - Nutcracker (2)

I have had the idea for creating an automaton or automata for awhile now and this contest is the perfect opportunity to showcase it. My vision is that the base will be able to be used to create more scenes and can be easily switched out. This is my second scene, the Nutcracker. I hope this will be a great learning device for children (and us adults!) to learn about mechanics and engineering.
