This is a ball and socket system for a desk mount. It's got SWEET 1/4-20 taps all over it. Like an inverse Pinhead from Hellraiser.

You'll want to get some Standard 1/4"-20 Male to 1/4"-20 Male Threaded Screw Adapters to turn this sucker into a proper pinhead.
