Ball & Socket joint

This ball & socket is intended for light duty applications when printed with standard filaments. When printed with engineering materials (PETG-CF, Nylon-CF, etc) this joint can comfortably support a DSLR camera and lens (750g - 1Kg) It has a 3D range of motion of 30 degrees. Three screws (2x M3x20, 1x M6x20), and an M5 heat set insert are required. An M6 bolt or adapter screw is required to connect the ball to your object. The ball should be tapped M6. An M5 insert nut is required to securely mount the socket to a support such as 2020 extrusion or a tripod.
