A Basic Ball Joint This simple ball joint can be used in many ways including to mount small objects to a surface or wall. I specifically included this model as it pairs perfectly with my collection of microcontroller cases for wall mounting. You will need 2 small screws to attach the ball to the box (or something) and the base to the wall / surface. I use #4 wood screws of ¾ inch length (19mm). The screw's flat top diameter is under 6 mm and the screw's shaft is slightly less than 3 mm. About 15 to 19 mm length depending on your needs. The screw that attaches the ball to the box should be under 20 mm. Maybe 20 mm would work. Non Magnet Option:You can use a screw and/or double sided tape to secure the Socket Base part to the wall / surface. If using double sided tape, you have an option in the “for Magnet Mount” pro
