This set of 3 models can be used to introduce basic circuit concepts. All use height to represent voltage and the width of the 'channel' to represent the current. A tactile circuit diagram, as students might find in a textbook or worksheet, is included around the outside of the model to connect the concept with the diagram form. The pdf with braille labels of the circuits can be printed on swell paper and embossed to further aid in concept development.
Each resistor is 2 Ohm (Ω) and the battery is 12 Volts (V).
Students can use Ohm's law V = IR and the rules for series vs parallel to work out the resistance, current and voltage of each circuit.
##Simple Circuit
This circuit has a battery and a resistor on opposite sides of the circuit. The current is 6 A throughout the circuit. The electrical potential energy goes up as it passed through the battery, then is lost as it goes through the resistor.
##Series Circuit
This circuit has a battery and two resistors in series. Half the vol
