Battle Map Tools

This is a set of very simple battle map tools to assist in drawing a variety of curves, circles and cones. Also included is a stencil for graphic representations of stairs, doors, arrows and secret doors.

The first is a very simple 2-point compass which uses a pin or tack as it's axis of rotation for use as an area of effect drawing tool. This is primarily for wet erase type gaming mats to plot out spells, explosions or other random round things. Holes are 1/8" in diameter and spaced on 1" increments. They are countersunk to allow wide tip markers, (we use Crayola Washables at our house). Makes a good straight-edge as well.

The second is similar, with an angled edge for cone spells, and a metered edge to mark distances in 1 inch increments. It can use a pin as an axis as well, or use finger pressure in the little divot for short arcs.

The third tool is a stencil for various map icons, such as stairs, secret doors, single and double doors and arrows.
