Bee Escape

Print two of these bee escape modules along with two of the connectors to build a bee escape. It is like a 1 way door that only lets the bees go downward so you can empty your honey supers of bees without needing to blow or brush them out. Just add it below the super you wish to extract and the bees will empty out over 24 hours or so and not be able to find their way back up.

I have used this a couple times now and it works like a charm.

The design was made for a Langstroth hive, it should work for both 8 and 10 frame hives. The difference will be in your wood width.

I used a 1 x 4 for the frame of the escape. You could also use a cut down old box.
