Better Mouse Trap

I did not come up with this design. This was created Matthias Wandel that runs https://woodgears.ca. I came by this design a few years ago and have been using it with great success but with it being built out of wood. So I figure it needed to be redone with the 3d printer to get better quality and make it look better.

I printed this with a slot in the back with the intent of having to stick a penny in there for balance but I did not need to in the end but I left it there so if you use a very low infill it gives you the option for balancing.

I put a small magnet on the bottom of the flip board and a bolt that runs up to meet it through the back brace. This can be adjusted so it has just enough pull on it. Put some peanut butter on the end of the catwalk and your off to the races.

Once this is setup correctly, it takes care of itself. My best record is 10 in one night in the shed. No need to reset it. Self reset and ready for more. I can't say enough about this design. If you ne
