Blackwater Stencil

Blackwater, now known as Constellis (formerly Academi), was a private military company (PMC) founded in 1997 by Erik Prince. It gained notoriety for providing security services to the U.S. government, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan. The company became controversial after the 2007 Nisour Square massacre, where Blackwater contractors killed 17 Iraqi civilians. This led to legal battles and public scrutiny over the role of PMCs in warfare. Despite rebranding, Blackwater remains a symbol of military privatization and ethical concerns in modern warfare.
