There is a thing called a "trunk corner bracket" usually made of metal and used to strengthen boxes made of thin materials, like steamer trunks or wooden tool boxes. I wanted to make a PLA version of that, to make small boxes from 1/8 sheet material like plywood or particle board. The default dimensions are 1 inch high and 1 1/8 inches wide and deep. It is 5 grams, or about 11 cents to print.
This is a fresh attempt and build. I fitted in some particle board and applied thin (wicking) super glue. It is freakishly strong, so the proof of concept works. I can use it to make small custom utility boxes for tools and etc.
The superglue stains the particle board so for "nice" builds painting may be required.
