Bumper

Hello everyone ... Here is a shelf bracket bumper made from TPU. The idea is to protect my head and back from the steel prongs I am using for heavy duty shelving. It is a my first try at TPU printing. Initially I printed with one of the large faces down but had to use supports for the large roof panel. The TPU is a bit of a bugger for supports as it is so strong. I resolved the issue by printing with the slit opening pointing up (see pic). Finally although you can't see it in the pictures there is a 5mm hole drilled near the end of the bracket. The bumper has a couple of internal tabs that key into these holes to act as retainers.

That's it for this project......now I just have to print up about 20 of them.
