I designed this specifically to hold a large bundle of cables and allow easy re-routing. It features a through-hole to allow you to easily use a screwdriver to fix it to the wall and a flat surface at the back to brace itself to hold heavy bundles. I have about 6 heavy power cables sitting in mine (with the screw going into a stud, although it probably doesn't quite need the stud for that weight yet) and it handles the weight very well, with plenty more room for more cables.
