Calendar Frame

I found the printable calendars available at to be quite useful so I decided to design a holding frame for them. This frame will hold a full year of 8 1/2" x 11" monthly calendars. There is also a slot for a 8.5" x 11" piece of cardboard backing to facilitate writing on the calendar. Since my printer has limited print size the frame sides are made of two pieces glued together. I have made frames using ABS, HTPLA, and PLA. HTPLA and PLA provided the best prints with better dimentional stability with less warping. The joints will require some cleanup using files or sandpaper. The "cap" is not glued so as to be easily removed for insertion of the calendar and the cardboard backing.
