Calipers

This is a caliper for figuring out the distance between two things.
I created it all myself in OpenSCAD but I did get inspiration from two other thing files.
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2222634 has an interesting hinge which inspired my hinge.

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1022715 is a calipers with a very elegant shape so I tried to create a similar shape. The result is embarrassing but it's all my own work so that's something.

The result is not really a mashup, not really a new thing. But it's exactly what I wanted and I learned a great deal making the OpenSCAD files so that's something.
