These are great for sailing, boating, canoeing, etc. Anytime you have a lot of ropes for securing things to cleats but need a way to make quick adjustments. These things cost $10-$20 online (plus shipping). Using this model, all you need are some 1/8" nuts/bolts/washers and/or screws.
