I wanted a stand for my Foscam R4S webcam that was simple and elegant for my entryway. I designed a base and top for 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe that allows me to mount the camera on top. The design has a base plate and a cap for the top of the pipe with a simple 1/4" hole for a bolt that goes into the camera. This can work for any camera or device that allows a "bolt from the bottom attachment." Of course you can use any length pipe you need. A little masking tape around the inserted parts will tighten the fit into the PVC. You can add some weights (rocks, sand, etc) in the bottom of the pipe to improve stability. I also included an stl file for a knob for a 1/4" bolt if you want. The scad file is included so you can modify the design to fit a variety of pipes.
