Capacitive Button

Glue some layers of tin foil on the underside, wedge a screw into shelf (the head should be pushed in under the lip). Ensure a good connection to the foil and then solder a wire to the screw end.

EDIT: I actually also used some capacitive paint in the end to ensure a good connection to the screw.
