Just made a very quick car plug socket. I needed something to step down my 12V solar batteries to charge my ipad etc. I had a car charger lying around so why not use that.

Check your car plug before printing: socket ID: 20mm, depth: 33mm.

Post printing: The pin at the end is 12V/24V input and the sides are GND. I stuck two wires into the holes in the sides of the socket and put foil tape on the inside to hold them in place. Make sure the foil tape definitely does not touch each other, and that it's stuck on well to the inside of the socket. With the foil tape in there the plug goes in nice and cozy and wires feel pretty secure.
