I wanted to hang my camera from the ceiling so I designed this thing.
Don't use it for climbing or lifting exceedingly heavy and valuable things.
If you do: **I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISKY/DANGEROUS USE**
Cheap 4mm diameter PP rope works well with this.
**Useful knots for loops here:**
★ sliding loop -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_overhand_noose
★ friction loop -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling_hitch
★ fixed loop -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowline
★ fixed loop -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figure-eight_loop (overkill - big)
**Useful knots for end to end rope connections:**
★ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisherman%27s_knot (single or double)
*Interlocking overhand knots:*
★ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeppelin_bend (especially easy to untie after heavy load)
★ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_loop (especially easy to untie after heavy load)
