I created a hand controller mount to relocate the controller from the tripod leg to the CGEM mount in an attempt to clean up all the cabling on my telescope. I re-used the original hand control bracket that came with the telescope.
Thee bracket is attached to the mount using the Snap-Together Fastener type velcro which I purchased from McMaster Carr pn#94935K17.
I had to add some fillets along the vertical edges of the velcro pockets on the inside diameter of the part to make the part print.
Over all, relocating the controller has made its use easier during alignment and helps in keeping all my cables cleaned up while viewing/photographing my favorite objects.
