I needed to swap my standard flasher relay out to one designed to accommodate LEDs (the standard relay didn't recognise LEDs as they didn't draw enough current).
The generic CF13 relay I bought online fits nicely (30x30x30mm), and I believe generic CF14s would too. There is space in the bottom to fit an M4 nut for mounting to where the old relay mounted.
The relay has minimal power going through, so no concerns about temps affecting the PLA.
You shouldn't need any supports when printing, and it'll print quickly even with fine layers.
