Cheap DIY laser pointer, using 3 AA batteries. There are 2 designs available, one with a switch holder and one without.

Switch I gutted from an old darkroom timer.
The easiest way to connect the batteries together is to slide a piece of aluminum foil into the small slot at the bottom of the design.
