Chevette

Ladies and gentlemen... the 1982 Chevrolet Chevette.

Why would I do this? I decided to learn Blender and I needed inspiration. My first car was a 1982 Chevette, so why not?

Listen. This isn't a bad car. It actually has a lot of character. But this isn't about the car. Let's talk about the model.

I tried to build a faithful recreation of the Chevette 5-door hatchback using only old photographs, my own nostalgic memory, and lots of vertex pushing in Blender. I hope you enjoy it.

Incidentally, the Chevette didn't change much between the late 70s and about 1983, so this model pretty much represents those years. It was also branded as the Pontiac T-1000, with the only difference being the grill logo (and badging, which my model doesn't have).

**Update 03/24/18:** Changed the model slightly with some printability improvements and aesthetic changes. Also added a "matchbox" version with a simplified design and half the size.
