I mainly provide an adapter here that allows you to relocate the display of the Chitu E1 filament dryer from the narrow side to the wide side. It also includes a cover for the original mounting location and a drilling template. For the dry boxes, I also designed a flexible PTFE connector. For the modification, the flat ribbon cable needs to be extended. The cable is a 40-pin, 0.5 mm ptich, labeled AWM 20624 80C 60V VW-1.I ordered this one, including an adapter board, from Amazon:It’s probably cheaper on AliExpress. If you also disassemble the small display housing, you can use a longer cable without an adapter. I estimate it needs to be at least 300 mm long — 400 mm would be better. I’ve put together a tutorial on YouTube that might help. I’m happy to receive comments and suggestions.JanziBoost MeThis is my second design here. If you like it, I’d appreciate a boost.
