Cinquefoil

I have been playing around with OpenSCAD, using David Eccles' path_extrude script (https://github.com/gringer/bioinfscripts/blob/master/path_extrude.scad) to produce knots. This is an example of the results. It is a cinqfoil knot, also known as Solomon's Seal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinquefoil_knot), which I extruded with a cinqfoil cross section. It was more in the nature of an experiment to see what I could do than an optimised final model for printing, but feel free to use it as you wish!
