CNC Digitizing Probe

This is an easy to make, quick and dirty digitizing probe for a cnc machine. You can use it to generate point clouds and for auto-levelling. Take a look at Mach3's digitizing wizards...

You will need a length of 1/8th" brass tube, 3/32" stainless rod, a tactile switch (6x6x4.5mm), and a 1/8th" tool shank - I used a broken pcb drill bit.
