Collimator alignment stand

If your collimator isn't collimated your telescope alignment will never be right. This stand will allow you to fix that. Clamp the stand to a solid surface, place your collimator in the stand, turn it on and point it at a piece of paper across the room. Make a mark on the paper and rotate the collimator and make another mark on the paper where the dot is. Repeat this process and adjust your collimator until the dot doesn't move when rotating. Now when you put it in your telescope it will give you an accurate way to collimate your scope.
