Commodore 64 Dead Test Shell or Case NB HighTech version

I recently bough a C64 dead test cartridge. It's a great little cartridge, but hard to plug in and even harder to pull out without damaging the cartridge.

The cart doesn't have any holes in the board to make it easy to mount in a shell, so I created a custom shell for it. Added some grips on the end of the cartridge to make it easier to remove. I also added holes in the case to display the information for setting the switches.


I used two 2mm x 6mm self tapping screws in the handle to hold the cartridge together.
