Crab Trap

This crab trap is meant for catching small crabs in the dam to use as live bait for fishing for barbel.Some of the places we fish does have crabs but they stay in there water even at night where at some other places they do come onto the bank at night. Even then they aren't always easy to catch by hand. Thus, this crab trap was born.

Assembly is very basic. I used small cable ties to hold everything together. First assemble it with the cable ties not totally tightened. once assembled you pull them tight.

The door's cable ties need to be just loose enough for the door to easily hinge open and shut. For the top panel I used small binder clips so I can easily open the top to hang my bait and to get the crab(s) out.
