FC "Central Sports Club of the Army 1948" or "CSKA 1948" is a football club from Sofia, Bulgaria. It plays its matches at Vasil Levski Stadium, participating in the First Professional Football League in the 2020/21 season. The team colors are red and white.In June 2016, after the legal entity representing PFC CSKA (Sofia) - "PFK CSKA EAD" went bankrupt and a new one was created to represent the club by restructuring those of PFC Chavdar (Etropole) and PFC Litex (Lovech), to participate in the newly created First Professional Football League, some fans disagree with this procedure and decide to create a new club with the popular abbreviation CSKA.FC CSKA 1948 was founded on July 19, 2016 at a founding meeting held at the Central Military Club in Sofia.
