Cube Testing Machine

This is a cube testing machine used in colleges and construction sites to test the strength of concrete cubes. It works using force applied using a hydraulic piston.The piston contains an oil on which force is applied. The concrete block is kept on the cylinderical base and held in place using the lead screw. Now as the force is applied on the pump yhe cylinder raises but the lead screw does not move. The pressure experienced in the oil is shown in a pressure gauge.
