Designed and modeled a high-fidelity Low Speed Cascade Wind Tunnel using Autodesk Inventor. The project focused on creating a modular research environment for studying aerodynamic performance and flow behavior over blade cascades. The assembly was engineered to ensure structural stability and precise flow alignment. Key Features • High efficiency and reliability: Ensures stable performance even under demanding conditions. • Compact design: integrates seamlessly into various industrial system • Modular Test Section: Designed for quick interchangeability of blade profiles and cascade geometries to accommodate various experimental setups. • Contraction & Diffuser Optimization: Modeled precise internal geometries to achieve uniform flow velocity and minimize turbulence at the test inlet. • Advanced Assembly Management: Managed a complex multi-part assembly including honeycombs, screens, and mounting brackets, ensuring proper fit and alignment (GD&T). • Simulation Integration: Prepared the model for CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis by ensuring watertight geometries and clean internal surfaces.
