Customizable CD/DVD Stand

I designed these two DVD and CD stands that features a fully customizable front panel. They are ideal for organizing and showcasing your movie, music, or videogames collections, allowing you to display your favorite titles or those you are currently playing. The stands lend themselves to various uses: from personal collections, to displays for shops or fairs, where prices or information about the displayed titles can be indicated. My design is inspired by a project of @KlausRosenthal, of which I increased the viewing angle (from 8° to 10°) and some measurements to allow the insertion of customizable panels. There are two variants of each stand: The “Basic” version is very simple and minimalist, but does not allow the insertion of custom panels. The “Customizable” version has a dedicated slot for inserting custom panels, compatible universally with both CD and DVD holders. The labels can be customized in two ways: Sticker Ready: these are thicker and allow you to attach custom printed stickers (a sample file with measurements and suggestions is included). 3D Ready: thinner labels, which can be modified with embossed graphics and printed with detailed 0.2 or 0.1 mm nozzles.
